High rise is too high for petite size.

These jeans fit me like a glove. I ordered a pair before this, sz.29, but they were too loose and I almost didn’t order them in a smaller size but then decided to give them a try (I wear 28 in Levis) and I’m so glad I did! The 28s are perfect and I’m ordering another pair. I like the high rise because it’s more slimming. The ones that sit right at the waist are not comfortable for me. I also like the fact I can tuck things in and still have a smooth look. I’d like them in a blue jean or some other color or wash without the ‘distressing’ that so many jeans now come with. And I’d like to say something about distressing—it makes the jeans look dirty instead of just faded. The wrinkles at the crotch don’t help. Why not let the jeans fade as you wear them so they still look clean even tho faded. These Madewell jeans, unlike Levi’s, go up to the waist and keep that line by not cinching in that top button to make sure they don’t fall off?! Why, they’re not going to go anywhere… I am an older adult with a nice figure so I appreciate these jeans – they keep me young looking without any added rips or tears or waistline at the hips that must be painful.
