So adorable! They were a little tight on arrival but have loosened just a small amount after 3 wears. Nothing that changes the size, just forms to the body. True to size, I get a lot of compliments 🙂

The waist is just right and deep pockets are a plus, but the thighs are super baggy which makes the overall look not flattering. Threads keep pulling out from the frayed hem on itself, which makes the supposedly vintage look not as sophisticated.

I do love madewell jeans and I like these, but they are not my fave. They are extremely high wasted (like and inch below my bra). The rise is a bit loose too so lots of fabric gives me a bit of a Jean pooch. It’s impossible to sit down without unbuttoning the top button. I’m 5’2” and the length is weird- not cropped but too short? The style is cute if you’re standing up- different than normal tight skinny’s or mom jeans. Love the wash- good as vintage 501s.

Great jeans but it wasn’t what I was looking for … reason I didn’t give 5 stars. I wanted them to hit above the ankle (cropped look). Instead they hit at my ankle. Too long and not enough stretch in the material. They look a lot shorter on the model, so disappointed when I got them.

picture makes them look like ankle jeans. They are definitely not! very long.
