It’s a nice size bag for a crossbody, the color is nicer than I expected and I like Madewell products. However, I have a few reasons why I only gave three stars. 1. I find it very hard to believe it is genuine leather- It just feels and looks like a good faux leather bag 2. the side pocket is way too narrow to hold a phone or keys 3. the interior should have a second side pocket, one with a zipper would be an improvement – I’m still thinking about returning it but will probably keep since I cannot seem to find find anything better

The shipping was super fast. Size is perfect…not too small or large. The video provided helped me visualize the size. Color is great and leather is soft. Having the two straps is nice and gives me options. Leather strap is a bit narrow but not a big deal for me especially since the canvas strap is wider. Love!

Super cute crossbody bag. The leather is smooth and the color is a perfect medium brown. As with all slip pockets, the one on the exterior of this bag doesn’t serve much of a purpose unless you use it to insert your dolla dolla bills into that the cashier gives you back from your change because you’re looking for a fight. Also, don’t do that. It’s the perfect size for a walk around bag yet it’s still large enough to carry quite a few items – keys, wallet, phone, wipes/hand gel, mace, lipgloss, a pencil case, and 1000 Target receipts are what’s in mine. And that it came with two straps is a bonus for me. I immediately discarded the matching leather strap because thin purse straps make me sad; wide fabric straps that sit comfortably atop my shoulder and across my body are delightful. And mine is gaining a patina so the leather is aging beautifully – disregard the review that scored down this bag because they thought the leather isn’t real. Real leather doesn’t patina. Get it – you won’t regret it.
