This dress is SO NICE. The fabric is lovely and substantial, with a lovely woven windowpane pattern, but is still a little see-through despite the lining; you’ll want to wear neutral underwear just to be safe, but you won’t need a slip or anything. There are pockets! The length is a perfect midi for me even at the slightly taller end of 5’9″. I felt the dress was true to size–I wear an L in just about everything with a size 12 bottom half, and I was quite comforable erring towards the looser side. Only bad part is, while the dress is very cute, it is also VERY low cut (or for the more well-endowed). The bottom of the v neck went fully below the band of my bra, and due to the mild transparency I don’t think I’d want to go without. Very sad to send it back, but I highly encourage others to give it a try! It’ll be a great wardrobe addition.
