Awesome booties! These go great with dresses or pants, very fashionable, and a gorgeous color. The heel gives you bounce, but is very stable. I have a high arch so they are a little tight, but they feel like they will break in nicely. Highly recommended!

I love these shoes so much and have received so many compliments. They are comfortable, very cool looking on the foot, kinda witchy with the pointy toe, and really made well ; ) They are a perfect combination of being able to dress up a shoe and yet always looking well dressed with ease. The d’orsay heel (where the leather around your heel is separate from the rest of the shoe) wears similarly to a Dansko, where your heel will lift out of the shoe slightly when walking. The pointy toe is pretty extreme. I have worn them a few times with thin socks to help break them in. I can feel that the outside edge of my big toe might be rubbing on the pointy toe. I was looking to spend about $150 on a shoe I can wear for years and actually have repaired to add more to its lifespan. That is, unfortunately, a hard thing to find these days with all rubber glued soles. This shoe has a real leather stitched sole with a stacked heel that can be re-sown and repaired. This shoe has such classic lines it won’t go out of style and can be worn and repaired for years to come. I am so happy with my purchase.

Got these in cognac for my daughter after she had them in black and said they were so comfortable that she was able to wear them all day at work and they didn’t hurt. She likes how they look with pants because they are lower than “booties” and don’t hit the bottom of her pants.

I ordered my regular size 8 and once I got my foot in the shoe they fit perfectly!! Yes, it was a bit of a struggle getting my foot in the shoe. I can see why a buyer might think they are too small. Since I wear a AA width and my usual size fit, I would assume with a regular width you may need to size up.
Not much padding I may add an insole.
I love that this is very stylist shoe that fits me.

I have NARROW (AA)width feet and finding a stylist shoe that actually fits is somewhat of a challenge. I purchased a size 8 and they fit well. Definitely, will looking at madewell shoes in the future for a great style and great fit!

This is the most gorgeous and comfortable shoe. It has a real sole that can be replaced by a cobbler, the leather is thick and well stitched. This shoe dresses up and down. The pointy toe feels slightly witchy. One of the best parts of this shoe is that when you walk it makes a prominent sound. This really makes me walk confidently knowing that people are looking my way when they hear me coming.

I rarely leave reviews, but this is an exception and a fair warning. This was the third time I was trying to buy these booties. Initially, I ordered size 8 (sized down from my usual 8.5) and they still were huge. Then, I exchanged it for 7.5. They fit was much, much tighter (that’s another story – please bare with me), but I thought what the heck – the leather will eventually stretch out, so I’ll keep them. Until I noticed how uneven the stitching on the front of the shoe was. I mean, it looked like a botched job conducted in some third world sweatshop. So, I contacted Zappos and they graciously sent me an exchange, which took 24 hours to complete. I was so excited to get these booties today! The moment I slipped my feet in them I was shocked how different they felt from the first pair I purchased in the same size 7.5. They were much more comfortable and did not hurt anywhere, which made me think that the previous pair was a factory defect. What a great exchange story, right? Wrong. The stitching on this pair was even worse. Not only was it crooked, it was also different in color. It doesn’t end there – scratches and blemishes were all over one of the shoe. What in a heaven’s name, Zappos? Your customer service is excellent but what happened to quality control? I am beyond disappointed. Now I have to waist my time yet again going through the return second time in a row. Makes me think these are factory seconds here. Caveat emptor.

Ok, this is my second attempt to leave a review for these boots. The previous attempt was not published by Zappos for some odd reason. First, let me say that I have ordered these booties three times. The initial order was in size 8, which was too big (usually, I wear 8.5 or 9, but a solid 8 in Frye and some other brands). Then, since I loved the style so much, I decided to go with a whole size down. When they arrived, the 7.5s were very tight, but as per other reviews, I was banking on leather stretching out over time. So, I decided to keep them. Until a closer examination revealed how poorly made they were. The stitching on the front of one shoe looked completely different from the other. At this point I thought that I must have gotten a defective pair, so I reached out to Zappos (excellent customer service, btw) and asked for replacement. The pair that arrived the next day felt VERY different from the one I’ve exchanged. They were much more cushiony and slipped on my super-narrow feet like a glove. Comfort-wise, I was in heaven. However, they had exactly the same problem as the ones I sent back. Again, the stitching looked seriously messed up. I mean, I’ve seen Target-brand shoes that were better quality. Moreover, they had scratches and faded spots all over them. I wonder if they were factory seconds. I really, really wanted to keep these, but unfortunately back they go. Shame, though, since they are very cute and super comfortable.

One of my new favorite pairs of shoes! HOWEVER, this was the first time in my life I had to size down TWO FULL SIZES! From a regular 9 to a 7. Luckily, Zappos was very accommodating with my 4 returns.

These shoes are crazy versatile! They are soft leather, medium heel and a pointed toe, which makes them work with jeans, pants or skirts. They seem to run just a bit narrow but will stretch some with wear. I love this style!

I typically wear a 6.5 and this bootie fits really well. My heel doesn’t slip out the back and the height of the bootie is perfect. I already have the tan ones and came back for the black.

Stunning! What a gorgeous, timeless shoe. Beautifully made and worth every penny. I went by the reviews and went down a half size… I’m glad I did. At first I thought I wouldn’t be able to get my foot in, but the leather started stretching right away. Since leather usually stretches, I think sizing down is the way to go. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly without a sock. Anything thicker than tights probably won’t fit, which is fine because you wouldn’t wear a sock with this boot anyway (the sides are too low cut).

Fit and comfort were good but if you can see in the photos, the stitching around the shoe happens to be two different colors, one is white the other is tan. I couldn’t figure out at first but then I saw it. Not sure if the picture shows it clearly.

Absolutely love these cute little booties! 100% agree with previous reviews- I normally wear a 9, ordered these in an 8.5 and the fit is perfect. A teeny bit of room in the back but not enough for my heel to slide out. I feel like if I went down to an 8 they would be too small. Order a half size down!
